Design approach
A village connected by water.
A ten-hectare tourism masterplan in northern Khuzestan brings hospitality, recreation and commerce into a shared landscape. The proposed programme includes a five-star hotel, sports facilities, a tourism village inspired by historic settlement patterns, indoor leisure spaces, cabins, a night market, an open-air cinema and a glazed restaurant.
The design concept places water at the centre of the visitor experience, exploring a proposed connection with the Dez River as part of the landscape strategy. Brick gateways and compact village streets establish a sense of local memory, while contemporary leisure buildings introduce a different spatial tempo. Developed in collaboration with Abraj Company, the scheme is presented as a design proposal, without asserting construction status or approved water-engineering works.
- Water-led landscape
