Design approach
A home framed by the landscape.
The brief called for a pitched-roof villa with a nostalgic, cinematic atmosphere. The response brings that familiar silhouette into a modern-rustic language: exposed timber, textured stone and generous volumes give the house warmth without sacrificing the clarity of contemporary design.
A large triangular window follows the roof profile and opens the main living space towards the pool and garden. The timber structure, stone fireplace and carefully composed views form a continuous relationship between inside and outside. Quiet bedrooms, a games room and a warm, practical kitchen extend the same material language into the more intimate routines of the house.
