Children’s Bedding Store

A dreamlike spatial experience for children.

Design approach

Design concept and challenges.

In designing this interior, the primary aspiration was to create a dreamlike yet highly functional setting for children and parents alike. The store is structured through age-based zoning to streamline the browsing and selection process. Interpreting celestial elements across the ceiling and embracing soft, fluid curves ignite childhood imagination and wonder.

To guide visitors smoothly between distinct zones, two primary feature walls incorporate custom patina finishes, delicate illumination, and bespoke sculptural bas-reliefs. Drawing upon child psychology, an uplifting and energetic colour palette enriches the warmth of the space, cultivating a sense of belonging and discovery in every corner.

The initial design concept was envisioned by Bahar Tehrani, with comprehensive architectural detailing, spatial development, and project execution led by Mahtab Shahmohammadi.

  • Age-based zoning
  • Celestial forms
  • Playful wayfinding
